Surya Prabha Vahanam Held














On the seventh morning of the annual Brahmotsavam in Srinivasa Mangapuram Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami appeared to the devotees in the form of Sri Rama Krishna Govinda on the Surya Prabha Vahanam on the bright Sunny day.

On the penultimate day of the Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, Rathotsavam will be held in grandeur at 8am.

On the sixth day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati Sri Somaskandamurthy graced the devotees on the Vyaghra Vahanam.  

           

Afterwards, the priests performed Snana Tirumanjanam.  Sri Somaskandamurthy and Sri Kamakshi Devi were specially rendered abhishekam with milk, curd, honey, fruit juices and sandalwood.


Temple Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, AEO Sri Subbaraju, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Sri Ravikumar, Sri Balakrishna and devotees participated in this program.

Darbar Krishna on Chandra Prabha Vahanam












As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy in Srinivasa Mangapuram, the devotees were filled with religious ecstasy by catching a glimpse of Sri Darbar Krishna on Chandraprabha Vahanam on Wednesday evening.


Spl Gr Deputy EO of the temple Smt Varalakshmi and other office staff, devotees, bhajan and artistes troupes participated in Vahanaseva.

Issuance of Annaprasadam Tokens Through PoS Machine





TTD JEO Sri Veerabraham on Wednesday started the issuance of tokens through the PoS machine for distribution of Annaprasadam.


The distribution of free Annaprasadam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati has started last week by TTD.


These machines have been installed under the auspices of the IT department of TTD to issue about 2000 per day to devotees.

Mahashivaratri Day at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple on 8th March



As part of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara S


wamy in Tirupati, the Mahashivaratri festival will be celebrated on Friday March 8.

 

Keeping in mind the rush of devotees, special queues, shelters and parking areas have been arranged.


On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam of Mahanyasa is performed on Friday morning from 2.30 am to 4.30 am. 


Rathotsavam (Bhogiteru) will be held from 7 am to 9 am and Snpana Tirumanjanam will be held for the deities from 10 am to 11 am.  A special Nandi Vahanaseva will be held from 6 pm to 10 pm.

 

Devotees will be seen from 6 am to 2 pm and from 4.30 pm to midnight.  Lingodbhavakala Abhishekam will be held on Saturday March 9 from 12 am to 4 am.


On this occasion, devotional music and cultural programs will be conducted under the auspices of Hindu Dharmaprachara Parishad, SV college of Music and Dance.


Kalyanam of Siva Parvati on March 9


As part of the Brahmotsavam of Lord Kapileswara along with Sri Kamakshi, the Kalyana Mahotsavam of Siva Parvati will be held on Saturday, the day after Mahashivratri.  This Kalyanatsavam is organized as Arjitaseva from 6 pm to 7 pm.  Grihastas (two) can participate in Kalyanotsavam by paying Rs.250/-  per ticket.  Laddu Prasadam is given as a prasadam to Grihastas.

Impressive Vocal Music in Kapila Thirtham








On the sixth day of the ongoing Sri Kapileswara Swamy annual Brahmotsavam, the music and dance programs organized by Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance and Sri Venkateswara Nadaswaram and Dolu School on Wednesday night were impressive.


As part of this, on the stage set up in the temple premises, the lecturers and students of the vocal department of the college, Smt. Srishailaja, along with her group of disciples, sang many Sankeertans in a melodious manner that included Vinayaka Stuti....., Brahmamurari Surarchita Lingam..., Garuda Gamana Tava... etc. They were supported by Sri Chennayya on violin and Sri Ramesh on mridangam.


Later, the Head of the college violin department, Dr. KV. Krishna's instrumental music enthralled the devotees accompanied by Sri Shankar on mridangam and Sri Raghuram on Ghatam.  After that, there was a Bharatanatyam performance by Sro. Prasad, an alumni of the college.


In this program, the principal of the college Dr.  Uma Mudubala, other faculty, students and devotees participated.

Tennikoit for Women Officers Conducted








The details of TTD employees' sports competitions held on Wednesday are as follows.


 - Dr. Renu Deekshit stood the winner in the Tennikoit singles competition for women senior officers against Assistant PRO Kumari P. Neelima who came runner-up.


 - The team of Dr. S. Kusumakumari and Dr. B. Kusumakumari emerged as the winners in the women's senior officers Tennikoit doubles competition, against the team of Deputy EE Smt. Ramadevi and Principal Smt. T. Narayanamma.


 - While Smt Rajeshwari's team won the women's throwball competition above 45 years against Smt Usharani's team.


 - Smt Dhanashree's team won the under-45 women's throwball competition, while Smt Swapnamanjari's team came the runner-up.
