Nadaswaram Concert Performed at Kapilatirtha








The music and dance programs organized by Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance and Sri Venkateswara Nadaswara and Dolu School on Sunday night, the last day of Sri Kapileswara Swamy annual Brahmotsavam, were soulful.


As part of this, Sri V.  Haribabu and Sri M.Nageswara Rao band performed the Nadaswara Vaidya concert which impressed the devotees.


Similarly, college alumni Dr. R. Shyam Kumar and the Revathi team presented Sankeertans mellifluously.


After that, the Kuchipudi performance by Kumari Amulya troupe from Sri Nataraja Kalakshetra went on with a fine performance.


In this program, the principal of the college Dr. Uma Mudubala, other teachers, students and devotees participated.


TTD Eo AV Dhrama Reddy Presented Vastrams to Sri Kalahastiswara Swamy Varu








On behalf of TTD, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy presented pattu vastrams to Srikalahasti temple on the occasion of the auspicious Siva Parvati Kalyanotsavam on Sunday as part of the Mahashivaratri celebrations.


The TTD EO reached the temple and was welcomed by Sri Kalahasti Temple  Chairman Sri Anjuru Srinivasulu, EO Sri Nageswara Rao and other members.


Later the TTD EO had darshan of Sri Vayulingeshwara, Sri Gnana Prasunamba and Sri Guru Dakshinamurthy. 


Sri Lokanatham, Deputy EO of Srivari Temple and others participated in this program.


Trishula Snanam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple















On the last day of the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Brahmotsavam in Tirupati, the Trisula Snanam took place in a grand manner on Sunday morning. 


Earlier, Sri Nataraja Swamy went on a procession on Suryaprabha Vahanam up to Anna Rao Circle and reached back to the temple.  


After that the priests performed the Trisula Sanam according to the Saivagama tenets. Purnahuti, Kalashodhvasam and Kalasabhishekam were also performed to the deities.


The Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swamy will end with Dhwajavarohanam from 6 pm to 7.30 pm followed by Ravanasura Vahanaseva from 8 to 10 pm.


Temple Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, AEO Sri Subbaraju, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Sri Ravikumar, Sri Balakrishna and devotees participated in this program.

Sri Somaskanda Murthy on Purusha Mrugha Vahanam

 











On the ninth day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Saturday morning, Sri Somaskandamurthy along with Sri Kamakshi Devi blessed devotees on Purusha Mrugha Vahanam. 


Vahanaseva took place in the city streets in the midst of bhajan mandal kolatams, bhajans and mangal instruments.  


Lingodbhavakala Abhishekam was performed from 12 midnight to 4 am. Sarvadarshan for devotees started from 7.30 am.  Snapana Tirumanjanam was conducted from 10 am onwards. 


On this occasion, Sri Somaskandamurthy and Sri Kamakshi Devi were rendered Snapanam with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, sandalwood, Paneer and Vibhudi.


Temple Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, AEO Sri Subbaraju, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Sri Ravikumar, Sri Balakrishna and devotees participated in this program.
