In connection with Telugu Ugadi on April 9, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held in Tirumala temple on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion TTD Chairman Sri Karunakara Reddy said, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam is a traditional temple cleaning ritual that is being observed four times in a year before Anivara Asthanam, Annual Brahmotsavam, Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Telugu Ugadi.

As a part of this cleaning fete, the entire temple including the roofs, walls, puja utensils in the sanctum santorum and in sub-shrines were smeared with an aromatic mixture called Parimalam.

Later devotees were allowed for darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

TTD has cancelled Astadala Pada Padmaradhana seva in view of the ritual.

TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, DLO Sri Veeraju,  temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham, Peishkar Sri Srihari and others were present.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed in Sri Kodanda Ramalayam on Wednesday in connection with the annual Brahmotsavams from April 5 to 13.

After the traditional cleansing fete from 6:30am to 9am devotees will be allowed for darshan.

Ramayana Kalpavrksam 2024 signed off on a high note with the thrilling musical evening by popular group Indosoul by Karthick Iyer. Titled Rejoicing in Raghu - the band brought to life popular Karnatik music melodies in fusion music that had the audience dancing and clapping away. Earlier the well-known speaker Dushyant Sridhar spoke eloquently. Aabhas Maldahiyar's latest historical book - Babur - The Chessboard King was released, followed by a discussion by the author with writer Shivakumar, that touched many aspects of writing history.

 

According to Ananda Shankar Jayant, the curator of Ramayana Kalpavrksam ' The festival has been a grand success, with full house and standing ovations. The festival received blessings from Gurus, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who inaugurated the festival on 29th March. Revered spiritual gurus have also blessed this festival by sending their video messages of blessings. Daaji and Sharadapeetham, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha MahaswamiVaaru, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati MahaswamiVaaru, Shri Shataavadhani Brahmashri Lalitaditya Garu sent a beautiful message. Their video messages were played. The morning workshop sessions too were well attended.

 

Many well-known artists, bureaucrats and industry leaders attended the 3-day festival and expressed that such multi arts festivals are much needed, to bring together our arts and knowledge together.

The annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Maragatavalli sameta Agasteswara temple, a sub-shrine attached to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple at Narayanavanam will be observed from April 14 to 23 with Ganapati utsavam and Ankurarpanam on April 13.

Dwajarohanam will be on April 14 between 6:30am and 7:30am in Mesha Lagnam. The important days include, Nandi Vahanam on April 18, Rathotsavam on April 20, Kalyanotsavam on April 21 where two persons are allowed on payment of Rs.500 per ticket.

On April 22 Nataraja Utsavam, Ravanasura Vahanam, April 23 Trishula Snanam and Dhwajavarohanam with which the annual fest concludes.

Special devotional programs have been arranged by All Dharmic projects of TTD on these days.

The Rigveda Parayanam commenced at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple on Monday for the fourth time in the Chaturveda Parayanam sequence.

TTD commenced this spiritual program on April 11 in 2020. A dozen Vedic Pundits participate in this recitation under the aegi of SV Higher Vedic Studies.

Every day this program is telecast live between 9am and 10am on SVBC for the sake of global devotees.

H.H. Sri Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan, 46^th Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila Mutt offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on monday morning.

 

He was received at the Sacred Fig tree located near Old Annaprasadam Complex as per temple traditional honours (Pedda Maryada). Later TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy welcomed the seer, while the archakas took the Pontiff to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple with Isthikapal honours.

CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadhanam, Temple Peishkar Sri Srihari, Parpatheyadar Sri Thulasi Prasad and others were present.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been an inspiration for everyone. Over the years, he withered many storms and delivered big blockbusters one after another to become such a huge star. His word of appreciation is like winning an award for any young and upcoming filmmakers.

His chivalry and courteous behavior have given many upcoming technicians a huge boast to work harder and harder. Now, he saw Star Boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda's recent blockbuster Tillu Square.

The movie was released recently on 29th March 2024 and took a huge opening weekend to rave reviews and great response from audiences. The movie is set to hit Rs.100 crores gross worldwide, set to become a bigger hit than the first film, DJ Tillu.

Megastar Chiranjeevi watched the film and invited the team to his house. Siddhu Jonnalagadda, director Mallik Ram, one of the writer for the film Kalyan Shankar, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and editor Navin Nooli have gone to his home upon his invitation.

Appreciating the team, he said, "I and my entire family loved DJ Tillu. Siddhu Jonnalagadda is loved by everyone in our family, too. So, I was waiting for Tillu Square and watched it recently. Immediately, I wanted to invite the team and appreciate. Even after watching DJ Tillu, I invited Siddhu to home and appreciated him."

Later, he continued to appreciate director Mallik Ram, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Kalyan Shankar for their combined efforts to make the film such a big blockbuster. He also appreciated Navin Nooli for his editing efforts to keep the movie at racing pace.

He stated that after hearing to all the efforts the team have been putting into making the movie for over a year, he is really happy to see such an ensemble effort by the young team.

He appreciated the team further for giving a wholesome entertainer and asked people to not to believe in those who call it has an "adult comedy". He called the movie, "a family entertainer that everyone in the family can watch at theatres."

Anupama Parameswaran's character in the film is also getting great appreciation from audiences. While Sai Prakash Ummadisingu's visuals have been another asset to the film.

The Mallik Ram directorial has become so hugely popular with Ram Miriyala viral hit songs. Also, Bheems Ceciroleo Background score has been another asset for the movie.

Makers thanked the Megastar for his mega appreciative words and asked people to watch the movie in theatres for a complete family Summer Delight.
