Appeals to Devotees not to Believe Rumours

TTD on Wednesday clarified that the most sacred Srivari Laddu Prasadam are being prepared only by Sri Vaishnava Brahmins since several centuries and appealed to the devotees not to be carried away by false news.

In a statement on Wednesday, the TTD said that legal action will be taken against those who spread false propaganda about Srivari laddus on social media platforms.

In Laddu Potu (kitchen ) as many as 980 Hindus are working at present and are performing the pious duties assigned to them since time immemorial.

Among them Sri Vaishnava Brahmins are being engaged in collecting the raw materials used to prepare Laddus and they alone make laddus. While others are engaged in the transportation of laddus, storage, cleaning activity of Potu, and various other duties in laddu counters.

TTD said false propaganda is being spread on the social media platform that Srivari Laddu Prasadas are being prepared under the direction of a contractor named Sri. Thomas which is absolutely false and baseless.
