Chief Pontiff of Sri Padarajamutt, Mulbagal Offered Prayers to Lord Venkateswara







HH Sri Sri 1008 Sri Sujayanidhi Teertha Swamiji, Peetadhipathi of Sri Sripadaraja Mutt, Mulbagal offered prayers in Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Monday morning.

 
He was received at the Sacred Fig tree located near Old Annaprasadam Complex as per temple traditional honours (Pedda Maryada). Later TTD EO Sri Syamala Rao, JEO Sri Sri Veerabrahmam welcomed the seer, while the archakas took the Pontiff to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple with Isthikapal honours.

Temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham, Peishkar Sri Srihari, Parpatheyadar Sri Umamaheswwara Reddy and others were present.
 

31st July to 2nd Aug Consecration of Sri Kodanda Rama Swmay




Annual Pavitrotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati will be held from July 31 to August 2.

The ankurarpanam will be held on July 30.
On the first day Pavitra Pratista, the second-day Pavitra Samarpana and Pavitra Purnahuti will be observed on the final day.
Grihastas can participate on payment of Rs.500 per ticket on which two persons will be allowed.

Pushpayagam Held at Appalayagunta









The annual Pushpayagam was held splendidly at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple in Appalayagunta on Monday evening.

Several tonnes of traditional and ornamental flowers offered divine floral baths to the Utsava deities.
DyEO Sri Govindarajan, AEO Sri Ramesh, Pradhana Archaka Sri Suryakumaracharyulu, Superintendent Smt Srivani, temple inspector Sri Siva Kumar and devotees were also present.

Ankurarpanam Held For Pushpayagam





The Ankurarpanam fete for the annual Pushpayagam was held at Appalayagunta on Sunday evening.

 
On Monday evening Pushpayagam will be observed to the processional deities of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara along with Sridevi and Bhudevi from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
 
AEO Sri Ramesh, Chief Priest Sri Suryakumaracharyulu and others were present.

Chatrumasa Vratam Commences











The Chaturmasa Vrata Deeksha of senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala commenced on a sacred note on Sunday.

Following the tradition Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy followed by Sri Chinna Jeeyar and other disciples started from Pedda Jeeyar Mutt located adjacent to Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple. It reached Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple and offered prayers.
At the Mahadwaram of Srivari temple, the Jeeyar duo were offered a traditional welcome by TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao and the JEO Sri Veerabrahmam.
After offering prayers, at Ranganayakula Mandapam Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy was offered ''Melchat'' while his deputy with ''Ulchat'' Vastram.
Temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham was also present.
