Stringent Action on Contractors for Supplying Adulterated Ghee

 






The recent measures had yielded results in improving the taste and quality of Srivari Laddus, asserted TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.


Addressing a media conference at Goluklam Rest House the EO said the contractors were also warned of stringent action for supplying adulterated and low-quality ghee.

He said presently in Tirumala there is no adulteration testing equipment and it is very much needed.

He indicated the hurdles in systems for processing raw materials and ghee through procurement.

He also said a committee of four dairy experts is also constituted comprising of Dr Surendranath, Dr Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, Dr Swarnalatha and Dr Mahadevan who were requested to submit their report within a week.

The committee will also advise on terms and conditions to be included for procuring quality ghee in the tenders.

The EO said the ghee suppliers were directed to supply only quality ghee to TTD and one of the companies which was found supplying adulterated ghee as found in the NABL test report was issued a showcase notice for blacklisting. Another company has also been identified for supplying poor-quality ghee, he maintained.

He cautioned that if the ghee suppliers did not follow the tender conditions and regulations, TTD will take firm action against them.

Adi Karthika Fete at Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple on 30th July

 




TTD is organising the Adi Krithika fete at Sri Kapileswara Swamybtemple on July 30.


As part of the festivities, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to Utsava idols of Sri Valli Deva and Sena Sameta Subramanya Swamy in the afternoon.

Later in the evening, Tiru veedhi utsavam is observed to utsava idols on the auspicious occasion.
 

Vendors Should Sell Water Bottles as per TTD Norms - TTD JEo(H&E)

 




TTD JEO( Health and Education ) Smt Gautami told the vendors at Tirumala to sell water bottles only at prices set by TTD. 


Addressing a meeting with Vendors at the health department office on Tuesday evening in Tirumala she said several pilgrims had complained that vendors were selling water bottles at higher prices and also not accepting the empty bottles on return.

Under the instructions of TTD EO Sri Syamala Rao, she directed all the vendors in Tirumala to sell water bottles for uniform price and also refund pilgrims after accepting empty bottles. At the same time she also instructed the vendors to keep their shop premises clean and hygienic to which they agreed.

Dyeo Health Smt Ashajyoti, Incharge Health Officer Dr Sunil Kumar and health department officials, Tirumala shop keepers and vendors participated.

Enhance Hygiene at Kalyana Katta-TTD Eo

 













TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Tuesday directed officials concerned to enhance the hygiene and sanitation at Kalyankatta and provide hot water continuously to the pilgrims offering tonsuring.


After the inspection of the main kalyanakatta along with JEO Smt Goutami, the EO directed officials to clean up the tonsured hair, repair broken tiles in bathrooms and avoid inconvenience to the pilgrims

Among others he directed the agency officials to provide qualitative sanitary materials.

Thereafter he also visited Marusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Complex and interacted with the pilgrims over the taste of Annaprasadam being served to them.

The devotees also expressed satisfaction at the taste of recipes.

SE-2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DE( electrical) Sri Ravi Shankar Reddy, EE Sri Jaganmohan Reddy DyEOs Sri Rajendra, Smt Asha Jyoti Incharge health officer Dr Sunil Kumar, AEO( KKC ) Sri Ramakanth, Special Catering Officer Sri Shastry and others were also present.
