The Ankurarpanam fete was held in connection with the annual Pavitrotsavams in Sri Kodanda Ramalayam in Tirupati on Tuesday evening.

TTD Eo Presents Vastarams to Tiruttani Temple




On the auspicious occasion of Adi Kriittika, TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao presented pattu vastrams on behalf of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy to Sri Subramanya Swami in Tiruttani temple on Monday.


Later speaking to the media here he said, since 2006, TTD has been offering silks to the presiding deity of Sri Subramanya Swamy who is also popularly known as      ''Tanikesan'' in this renowned hill shrine.

''Devotees perform Kavadi Puja with great devotion on this occasion. And I prayed the presiding deity to bestow His benign blessings on the wellbeing of the entire humanity'', he maintained.

Earlier on his arrival to the temple, he was welcomed by the Temple JC Sri Arunachalam, Temple Chairman Sri Sridhar,   members and others.

Tirumala Temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham, Parupattedar Sri Tulasiprasad, Veda Paraynamdars were also present.

Additional Eo Inspects Places to Set Up Srivani Counter

TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary along with the Tirupati JEO Sri Veerabrahmam inspected various site along with the officials for setting up the permanent ticketing centre and donor section for Srivani devotees in Tirumala.


To issue tickets to SRIVANI Trust donors in a more convenient manner, TTD is mulling to set up an exclusive counter with parking facility.

As a part of this, the team of officials led by Additional EO verified the empty space at the back of Gokulam Rest House, TTD Kalyana Mandapam place by the side Adiseshu Rest House and DFO office.

Later the Additional EO also inspected the newly renovated Annamaiah Bhavan.

SE 2 Sri Jagadeeswar Reddy, Deputy EO Sri Selvam, Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy and other officials were present.

Swamy Pushkarini to be Closed from 1st Aug to 31st Aug




The temple tank, Swamy Pushkarini will be closed from August 1 to 31 for a period of one month to take up cleaning and renovation works.


It is customary to take up repairs, cleaning works of the Pushkarini, before the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams every year.

The entire water will be bailed out and certain works including removal of sludge, cleaning of steps, conveyance of debris, painting of pipes, repairing damaged points if any will be taken up. 

Till the completion of works, the Pushkarini remains closed.

The devotees are requested to make note of it and cooperate with TTD.

Pavitrotsavams Ankurarpana

The Ankurarpana fete for the annual Pavitrotsavams will be held in




Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati on July 30.


The three day Pavitrotsavams will begin with Pavitra Pratista on July 31 followed by Pavitra Samarpana and Pavitra Purnahuti on the remaining days respectively.

Grihastas can participate on payment of Rs.500 per ticket on which two persons will be allowed.
