TTD Eo Attends His Maiden Dial Your Eo




The pilgrims callers poured in laurels for the recent initiatives brought in the last one and a half months by the TTD Executive Officer Sri J Syamala Rao in increasing the number of SSD tokens, enhancing the quality of Annaprasadam and   Laddu Prasadam in Tirumala.


While attending to the pilgrims callers during his maiden one hour live phone in "Dial Your EO" programme held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday, the TTD EO answered 33 devotees' calls which mostly included on the darshan and accommodation bookings, Srivari Seva online services, quality of Laddu and Dharma Prachara activities. 

Answering to the callers, the EO said many changes were brought recently for the benefit of common devotees. The SSD tokens have been increased from 1.05lakh to 1.47lakh tokens per week to avoid waiting time for pilgrims in queue lines besides restricting the SRIVANI tickets in offline to 1000. 

He also said, the quality of Annaprasadam being served at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex and Srivari Laddu Prasadams have also been enhanced. Even the big and small hotels, other eateries in Tirumala are being instructed to serve qualitative and hygienic food at affordable prices to the multitude of visiting pilgrims in Tirumala as the health safety of devotees is also one of the top most priorities of the TTD.

Some other excerpt suggestions from pilgrim callers included review on the lease policy of TTD Kalyana Mandapams, safeguarding the TTD land located at Tiruttani, unhygienic environment prevailing in Sapthagiri Rest House in Tirumala, darshan to other Para Military Forces through Supatham, route maps in Dharma Ratham buses and many more. Answering all the callers, the EO said the suggestions will be reviewed and appropriate decision will be taken after a thorough analysis with the concerned departments.

TTD Eo Lists Outs Upcoming Events in Tirumala




TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Friday briefed the devotees about the upcoming mega-religious events in Tirumala.


Before taking calls from the pilgrims during his maiden Dial your EO program held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO said, elaborate arrangements for the ensuing annual Srivari Brahmotsavam from October 4 to 12 are set to commence and the officials are directed to complete all preparations by the end of September and ensure that the pilgrims and devotees are not put to any inconvenience. He also said the annual Pavitrotsavams will be observed from October 15 to 17.

Elaborating on the recently taken devotee-friendly measures, the EO said with an aim to provide more darshan time to the common pilgrims, SRIVANI offline quota tickets were restricted to 1000 from July 22 onwards out of which daily 900 Srivani tickets will be issued at Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala and 100 tickets at the Tirupati Airport current booking counter.

The EO also said, steps have been taken to upgrade deliciousness of Srivari Anna Prasadam, non-stop distribution of Anna Prasadam in Queue lines and milk in the compartments. Three officers have been drafted exclusively to supervise the amenties to the pilgrims waiting in outside queue lines and ensure all facilities including Annaprasadam, water, medical available to them without any inconvenience. 
 
Steps have been initiated to eliminate brokers at Tirumala, providing delicious and hygienic food at affordable prices in all the hotels at Tirumala, Srivari laddu quality and taste boosted, TTD IT mechanism strengthened. These are a few more measures taken in the last one month, he added.

Focus on Providing Hygiene Food to Devotees in Tirumala - TTD Eo




TTD EO Sri Syamala Rao reiterated that the hotels and fast food centres in Tirumala should provide clean, quality and delicious food to the devotees who come to have darshan of Srivaru from distant places.  

 
After the Dial Your EO program, speaking to media persons, the EO said, to ensure the health safety and security of the pilgrims, the Food Safety Department will train the hotel staff soon on the hygienic habits and cooking measures to be followed in the eateries. All the hotel owners in Tirumala must obtain Food Safety Department certificate which is mandatory to run the hotel with safety standards, he asserted.
