Sri Rajagopal, Program Officer, All Projects of TTD on Tuesday paid floral tributes to the statue of Vengamamba at MR Palli Circle in Tirupati to mark the 207th Death Anniversary of Matrusri Tharigonda Vengamamba.


Similarly, devotional music programs were organized with Annamacharya project artists from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.

Donation to SVAT




Sri Bommu Venkateswara Reddy of Punarjan Ayurveda Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad has donated Rs.51,09,116/- to S.V.Annaprasadam Trust of TTD on Monday evening.


The donor presented the cheque for the same amount to the Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary at the latter's camp office in Tirumala.

Fertilisers Donated




Renowned Fertilizers, the Coromandel International Company has donated Rs. 4.10 lakh worth fertilizers to the Garden wing of TTD on Monday.


The vice president of the firm Sri Satyanarayana, RM Sri Murali handed over the stock to the Garden Dy Director.

Kalyanotsavam Cancelled on 18th Aug




TTD canceled Srivari Arjita Kalyanotsavam on  August 18 Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala.


The annual Pavitrotsavams will be held at Srivari Temple from August 15-17.  

On this occasion, Vedic programs will be held in the Sampangi prakaram of the temple till the night of August 17.  

Due to this, TTD has cancelled the Arjita Kalyanotsavam on August 18.

The devotees are requested to make note of this.

Restrictions on Two Wheeler Movements




TTD has taken a decision to allow the movement of two-wheelers on both the Ghat Roads from 6am to 9pm only till September 2024. The restriction comes into force with immediate effect from Monday, August 12 onwards.


The decision has been taken in view of the safety of the devotees.

According to the Deputy Conservator of the Forests, TTD, the months of August and September happens to be the peak breeding season for wild animals. 

As such, the wild beasts are often seen crossing roads along First Ghat Road.

To avoid the Human-Animal conflict in the interests of both the devotees as well the wild animals, TTD has decided to allow the two-wheelers to ply on both the first and second Ghat roads only from 6am to 9pm  till 30.09.2024. 

The devotees are requested to make note of this change and cooperate with TTD.
