Shravana Upakarma will be celebrated on the auspicious occasion of Sravana Pournami on August 19 at Sri Govindarajaswamy temple in Tirupati.
As part of this, at 6.30am, the processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy will be taken in a procession to the Alwar Theertham in Kapilatirtham and Snapana Tirumanjanam followed by Asthanam will be performed.
From 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm Asthanam is performed to Sri Bhu Sametha Govindaraja Swamy at the Vaikhanasacharyulu temple located in RS Mada Street.
After that the utsava murthies returns to the temple.
The Parade Grounds of the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati is spruced up to host the 78th Independence Day celebrations on August 15.
The programs will commence by 8:30am followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Executive Officer of TTD and delivers his I-DAY speech on the occasion.
The series of events includes Cultural programs by TTD students, March, Special feat by security personnel, sniffer dogs which allures the spectators.
Later the employees who excelled in discharging their duties will be presented with the appreciation certificates and medals.
TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Veerabrahmam reviewed the arrangements to be made for the organising Sri Varalakshmi Vratam on August 16.
Reviewing on the arrangements with senior officials at the Asthana Mandapam in Tiruchanoor on Tuesday evvening the JEO said the holy Varalakshmi vratam is conducted in a traditional format at the Asthana Mandapam from 10am to 12noon on Friday. Later in the evening, Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru would be grandly paraded on the Swarna Ratham.
The JEO advised the officials to make all arrangements with their experiences in the past. Earlier he also inspected the setting up of huge LED screens, Annaprasadam arrangements, and others by respective departments.
He said the HDPP artists will perform bhajans and other bhakti sangeet programs.
The Engineering Department has made electrical decorations while the flower decorations by the garden department is set to stand as a major attraction.
The TTD has cancelled the Abhisekanantara darshan, Lakshmi puja, Kalyanotsavam, Kumkumarchana and Unjal seva on the day of vratam.
SE 1 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarlu, DyEO Sri Govindarajan, AVSO Sastish and other officials from various departments were also present.

Srivari Arjitha Seva Tickets Electronic DIP Registration will be available from 10am of August 19 till 10 am of August 21.
Srivari Arjitha Seva Tickets viz.Kalyanam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and SD Seva will be available from 10 AM of August 22 along with Annual Pushpayagam Seva tickets while Virtual Seva tickets will be released at 3pm on the same day.
Tirumala Angapradakshinam Tokens will be available from August 23 at 10AM.
Darshan and Accommodation quota to the SRIVANI Trust Donors will be available on August 23 at 11AM.
Senior Citizens/Physically Challenged quota will be available from 3pm of August 23.
The Special Entry Darshan (Rs.300) tickets will be available on August 24 at 10 AM.
Tirumala & Tirupati Accommodation Quota will be available from 3pm of August 24.
The Srivari Seva voluntary service General quota for Tirumala and Tirupati will be released at 11am while Navaneeta Seva at 12noon and Parakamani Seva at 1pm on August 27.
