Virat Steals - Gagan Thrills at - Day Feat









A spectacular show by the Sniffer Dogs and trained horses have stolen the show on the I-Day celebrations of TTD.


The 78th Independence Day celebrations witnessed a series of colourful events which began with the March carried out by Parade Commander Sri Satish.

The NCC cadets presented wonderful displays with trained horses-Good Luck, Roman Flame, Gagan, Fighter and Rani Jhansi.

On the other hand the Sniffer dogs team of TTD comprising Candy, Simba, Bindu, Virat, Beauty and Oscar displayed a captivating show by identifying suspicious persons and materials at the ID parade caught holding the attention of spectators.

The cultural programs by the students of SV College of Music and Dance for patriotic songs ccaptivated the participants.

Presentation of Merit Awards










































The 78th Independence Day celebrations was grandly held at the Parade Grounds of the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati with the TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao hoisting the national tricolour flag and receiving guard of honours presented by the TTD vigilance personnel.


After the completion of cultural programs, the EO presented srivari silver medals and appreciation certificates to 36 officers and 251 employees of various wings of TTD.

The EO also presented cash awards to the children of TTD employees who scored top marks that included ₹2116 to 19 students of Inter and ₹1116 to 55 students of Tenth class.

Annual Pavitrotsavams Commences









The annual Pavitrotsavams in Tirumala temple commenced on a grand religious note in Tirumala on Thursday.


As a part of it, Snapana Tirumanjanam was rendered to the Utsava deities chanting Pancha Suktams and later Pavitra Pratista was performed.

In the evening, the processional deities will Parade along four mada streets to bless the devotees followed by Vedic rituals inside the temple.

Both the senior and junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary, DyEO Sri Lokanatham and others were present.
