TTD Mulls Special Aid Centres for Brahmotsavams
TTD medical
wing is setting up 8 new first aid Centers around Tirumala to address emergencies for devotees' benefit during the forthcoming annual Brahmotsavam scheduled from October 4-12.
TTD is already operating 6 permanent dispensaries at Tirumala and Tirupati for providing medical aid to devotees, employees and locals.
In addition to two at Narayangiri Garden and one each at Rambageecha Rest House, Matrusree Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Complex Silatoranam, Bata Gangamma Temple, Papavinasanam, 7th Mile will be set up for the convenience of devotees during annual Brahmotsavams.
On the direction of the TTD medical department, senior doctors, paramedics medicines and ambulances with advanced medical equipment are being rolled out.
Mock Drill Performed at Tiruchanoor
As a part of its regular activity, a mock drill was carried out by TTD cops with Octopus team in Sri Padmavati temple at Tiruchanoor during the wee hours on Sunday.
Usually, TTD carries out this mock drill to ensure its preparedness to counter any anti-social element attack and deal swiftly with any emergency situation.
VGO Tirupati Sri Nandakishore, AVSO Sri Satish and others were also present.
TTD Addl Eo Inspects
The TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary on Sunday inspected four Mada streets and Laddu counters along with the temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham and other officials.
As a part of his inspection, he verified the exit and entry points during the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams, especially on the day of Garuda seva.
Later he also inspected the Laddu Prasadam Complex to ensure the distribution of laddus in a congenial environment to the pilgrims when the rush is heavy and made some valuable instructions to the officers concerned.
VGO Security Sri Surendra, temple AVSO Sri Manohar were also present.
