TTD Eo, Addl Eo Inspects Seva Sadan
TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary made a surprise visit to Srivari Seva Sadan twin buildings in Tirumala on Friday evening.
They thoroughly inspected both the buildings and were briefed on the mode of verification, registration, allotment of lockers, scarves, beds and duties at different locations in Tirumala besides the random electronic dip system of temple duties and about Satsang, Meditation and Bhajan orientation programme being held to the Srivari Sevaks every day. Both the EO and Additional EO also paved a visit to Cashew Splitting Service Hall in SS2 and observed the process.
Later the EO and Additional EO have also verified the process of cleaning, accommodation and other facilities including Annaprasadam, darshan being provided to the Srivari Sevaks and made a few suggestions to the officials concerned. They also interacted with a few Srivari Sevaks who expressed immense pleasure over the facilities being provided to them in Srivari Seva.
SE 2 Sri Satyanaryana, PRO(FAC) Kum Neelima, AVSO Sri Sai Giridhar and other office staff of Srivari Seva were also present.
TTD Eo Inspects Four Mada Streets
TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdaryna, CVSO Sri Sridhar and District SP Sri Subbarayudu inspected the four mada streets in Tirumala encircle the Tirumala temple to oversee the procession of Vahana Sevas especially the arrangements of Garuda Seva for the ensuing annual brahmotsavams.
As a part of the inspection on Friday evening, the top brass officials of TTD along with the District Police commenced their inspection at Vahana Mandapam and observed the various Entry-Exit points at different galleries, second filling of galleries on Garuda Seva, security aspects, the in and out gates to Swamy Pushkarini on the last day of Brahmotsavam on Chakra Snanam and various other related aspects.
Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, all the departments have already commenced the arrangements for the big religious festival which is scheduled from October 4 to 12. He said all the departments in co-ordination with the police are working towards ensuring a hassle-free Vahana Sevas to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala on the occasion.
CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Satyanarayana, DyEO Health Smt Asha Jyothi, Health Officer Sri Madhusudhan Prasad, VGOs Sri Surendra, Sri Ramkumar and other officials were also present.
Green Tirumala is Our Prime Focus- TTD Eo
Enhancing greenery in Tirumala by taking up a wide range of plantation activity is one of our prime mottos, said TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.
The EO along with the TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary participated in the Vana Mahotsavam fete observed by the TTD Forest wing and planted the "Sthala Vriksha" of Tirumala, Manu Sampangi at Sri Padmavathi Rest House area. Speaking to media on the occasion the EO said, on the occasion a total of 12 thousand plants will be planted out of which 2000 in TTD Forest cover while the remaining in the reserve forest area. The plantation programme will be made perpetual with the advance technology of "Seed Bowl Concept" in Tirumala. Since we also have a huge Ayurvedic College and hospital, medicinal plants required for these institutions will also be developed near the cottages in Tirumala by taking up a special drive programme", he asserted.
Meanwhile, TTD Forest Wing has planted hundreds of Manu Sampangi(Magnolia champaca), Sandalwood (Santalum album) and Sita Ashoka(Saraca asoca) at different places in Tirumala which comes under the purview of TTD Forest.
TTD Deputy Conservator of Forest Sri Srinivasulu, DyEOs Sri Bhaskar, Smt Asha Jyothi, Health Officer Sri Madhusudhan Prasad, other forest wing officials were also present.
Laksha Kumkumarchana held at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple
Laksha Kumkumarchana was observed to Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Friday.
As a part of this, Ganapati Puja and Laksha Kumkumarchana were observed from 6am till 12noon.
In the evening Tiruveedhi Utsavam with the deities was also observed.
Temple officials, devotees participated.
Bikes Donated
The MD of the Chennai based TVS Motors Sri Venu Sudarshan donated 16 bikes to TTD on Friday.
Among the fleet of 16 bikes 15 are Electrical bikes and the total worth is around Rs. 22Lakh.
TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary participated in the Puja performed to the new bikes.
Later the donor handed over the keys of the bikes to TTD mandarins.
