Ban on Two Wheelers in View of Garuda Seva on 8th October

Keeping in view the anticipated heavy influx of devotees on the day of Garuda Seva during the ensuing annual brahmotsavams, TTD has banned the movement of two-wheelers on both the Ghat Roads as a regular practice for the safety of the pilgrims.

This year the annual brahmotsavams at Tirumala are scheduled from October 4 to 12 with the most important Garuda Seva on October 8. As such no two-wheelers will be allowed to ply on the Ghat road from 9pm of October 7 till 6am of October 9.

The devotees are requested to make note of this and co-operate with TTD.

Vinayaka Chavithi Celebrations at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple on 7th September

Vinayaka Chavithi will be celebrated on September 7 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.

Special programs will be held in the temple on this occasion.

In the morning, Sri Vinayaka is awakened with a Suprabhatam followed by Abhishekam and Archana are to the moolavarlu.

At 5.30 pm, Gramotsavam will be conducted for Sri Vinayaka Swamy on Mushika Vahanam.

In the temple on the second ghat road...

Abhishekam is performed for the Moolavarlu on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi in the temple of Sri Vinayaka Swamy on Second Ghat Road from 8 to 9 am. Archana and special pooja programs will be held.
