New TTD Trust Board Chairman Sworn In
Sri BR Naidu took oath as the Chairman of the TTD Trust Board in Tirumala temple on Wednesday
TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao administered him oath in front of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Bangaru Vakili inside the Tirumala temple.
Later he had darshan of the presiding deity along with him family members.
At Ranganayakula Mandapam he was offered Vedaseervachanam by the Vedic Pundits followed by the distribution of Theertha Prasadams, lamination photo of Lord, TTD calendars and diaries.
Earlier, following the temple tradition, Sri BR Naidu had darshan of Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy and Swamy Pushkarini.
Later he reached Mahadwaram of the temple through Vaikuntham Queue Complex. He was welcomed by TTD officials at the entrance of the temple.
There after, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary administered oath with the Endowments Secretary Sri Satyanarayana, Smt. Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy, Sri Janga Krishnamurthy, Sri Mallela Rajasekhar Goud, Sri Jastipurna Sambasiva Rao, Sri M.S. Raju, Sri Narsi Reddy, Sri Boogunur Mahender Reddy, Smt. Anugolu Ranga Sri, Sri Anand Sai, Smt. Janaki Devi Tammisetti, Sri R.N. Darshan, Sri M. Shantaram, Sri S. Naresh Kumar and Dr. Adit Desai as members of the TTD Trust Board.
After darshan, they had Vedic blessings and Theertha Prasadams at Ranganayakula Mandapam, while the TTD officials presented them with a picture of Srivaru, diaries and calendars, Theertha Prasadams.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Sreedhar, Deputy EOs Sri Lokanatham, Sri Bhaskar, Smt Prasanthi and others participated in the program.
Meanwhile, Sri P. Ramamurthy will take oath at 2 pm as TTD Trust board member.
Compliments TTD For Conducting Hassle-Free Brahmotsavams
The top most priority of the present TTD Trust Board is to safeguard the Sanctity of the world-renowned Hindu Pilgrim Centre, Tirumala and provide hassle-free darshan to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to the Hill Town, asserted Sri B Rajagopala Naidu, the new Trust Board Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD).
Addressing his maiden media conference at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday evening, the TTD Board Chief has thanked the Honourable CM of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for selecting him to the coveted post which used to be his long pending dream. "I used to offer prayers to Sri Venkateswara Swamy every year trekking the footpath route since I my childhood. Today, Sri Venkateswara Swamy blessed me with this rare opportunity of serving His abode and offer service to the millions and millions of devotees visiting Tirumala. For achieving this divine goal I need the support of the entire work force of TTD and media, he maintained.
Later he said, upon the instructions of CM of AP, TTD mandarins have successfully conducted the annual brahmotsavams during last month in Tirumala and he aspired same team work will be continued to execute many more pilgrim-friendly initiatives during his term to uphold the sanctity of Tirumala.
Earlier, the Chairman had an introductory session with all the senior officers of TTD. The TTD EO Sri Syamala Rao presented a brief PPT on the various activities of TTD and explained the importance of each department including the Tirumala temple, local temples, Annaprasadam, Vigilance, Health, Transport and IT, Gosala, Garden and Forests, Educational institutions and hospitals, medical, PR wing, Reception, Kalyanakatta, Hindu Dharmic Projects in the massive religious organisation besides taking care of the pilgrim darshan, accommodation and other facilities. He said, TTD is like an ocean and is like a mini-state government and highlighted the dedication of the employees in taking forward the reputation of the institution at all levels with their commitment.
Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Sridhar, DLO Sri Varaprasada Rao, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Satyanarayana, other departmental HoDs were also present.
Bhoomi Pooja for Bio-Gas Plant Performed at Tirumala
A 40-tonne capacity IOCL Biogas plant will be installed at Tirumala jointly by IOCL and TTD to which Bhoomi Puja was performed by the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary on Wednesday.
The plant is being set up in over 2.22 acres with a compost storage unit over 0.17 acres to generate 40 tonnes of gas daily.
In the plant costing ₹12.85 crores, TTD will invest ₹5.80 cores out of ₹7.05 cores while the remaining by IOCL.
On completion of the project, biogas generated from the mixed wastes every day shall be supplied through a 2.5 km long pipeline to the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam complex (MTVAC).
TTD CE Sri Satyanarayana, DyEO Health Smt Ashajyoti, IOCL ED& SH Sri Anil Kumar, CGMs Sri YV Ramana Rao, Sri MRV Badrinath and others were present.
Annabhishekam in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple
Annabhishekam on the occasion of Karthika Pournami will be performed on November 15 in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple.
On that day, Anna Linga Darshanam will be from 4pm to 6pm while Anna Linga Udwasana will be between 6pm and 7pm followed by special Abhishekam with aromatic ingredients in Ekantam between 7pm and 8pm.
TTD Chairman Dines at MTVAC
TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu inspected Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex on Wednesday evening.
The TTD board chief arrived at MTVAC along with his family members and dined along with the devotees.
Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Rajendra explained the TTD Chairman about the Annaprasadam activities including the capacity of each hall, menus being served to the devotees, timings of MTVAC and others.
