On the last day of Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam on Friday, Tirumala Sare reached Tiruchanoor.


Srivari Sarewas brought from Tirumala to Alipiri Padala Mandapam in Tirupati. After a special pooja, the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary handed over the Sare to JEO Sri Veerabrahamam 

It is customary to bring sare from Tirumala Srivari Temple every year on the day of Panchami Thirtham.  

The Sare consisted of all sacred ingredients and the procession passed through the streets of Tirupati city via Komalamma Satram, Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, RTC bus station, Tiruchanoor Pasupu Mandapam and special pooja was performed.  

Later, Sare was presented to Ammavaru at Padma Pushkarini.  After that, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to Ammavaru and Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar.

PRECIOUS ORNAMENTS PRESENTED

On this auspicious occasion over one crore worth of ornaments which included Pandyan Crown, Lakshmi Haram, diamond necklace, diamond bangles and diamond earrings were presented to Sri Padmavati Devi from Srivaru.

TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, TTD EO Sri. Syamala Rao, other officials, dignitaries and a large number of devotees participated in the procession.

Pushkarini Turns into A Sea Of Humanity




























The temple tank at Tiruchanoor turned into a Human Sea with scores of devotees taking a holy bath in Padma Sarovaram on the auspicious day of Panchami Tithi on Friday.


The entire pilgrim centre was caught in devotional waves with the devotees chanting Govinda Namas with spiritual ecstasy.

SNAPANA TIRUMANJANAM 

Under the leadership of Kankanabhattar Sri Srinivasacharyu, a celestial ceremony was held from 10 am to 11.45 am for the Utsava deity of Sri Padmavati Devi and Sri Sudarshana Chakratthalwar in the Panchami Tirtha Mandapam.  

On this occasion, the utsava murthies were anointed with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric and sandalwood.  Several tastefully prepared garlands and crowns decorated the Goddess during the ritual providing a delightful feast to the eyes of the devotees.

Garlands made of Black grapes, Cuscus, Seeds stood as a special attraction. While the Panchami Thirtha Mandapam was decorated with various cut flowers and Australian Oranges. These garlands were donated by donors from Tirupur of Tamilnadu.

Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala, Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri Syamala Rao and a galaxy of top brass officials of TTD and others participated.

Dhwajavarohanam Marksthe Completion of Annual Fete







The annual Brahmotsavams concluded on a grand religious note with the lowering of Dhwaja Patham on the temple mast at Tiruchanoor on Friday.


The Dhwajavarohanam was held amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and the Gajadhwajam was lowered thanking the deities of all the worlds for successfully carrying out the Varshika Navahnika Karthika Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Devi.

Sare Offered to Goddess Padmavati from Srivari Temle









On the last day of the Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam, on Friday, the traditional Sare was offered from the Tirumala Srivari Temple to Sri Padmavati Devi to mark the Panchami Thirtham festival. 


It is an age old custom to take the Sare from Tirumala on the day of Panchami Thirtham fete every year. TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, EO Sri J. Syamala Rao, Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary participated in the  Sare procession program held at the Srivari Temple.

First, a procession of aromatic ingredients (a mixture of namakopu, sri churnam, musk turmeric, pachhaku, camphor, sandalwood powder, saffron, kichiligadda and other spices) was taken out at 2.30 am in the Srivari temple and an Ekantha Tirumanjanam was performed for Goddess Lakshmi in the bosom of Srivaru. 

Thereafter, a procession of saffron, Prasadam, tulsi garlands, pattu clothes and ornaments started from the Tirumala Srivari temple at 4.30 am. 

This procession was taken out through the four mada streets of the temple and then reached Alipiri in Tirupati. 

Temple officials and religious staff have also participated.

Tiruchanoor Brahmotsavams A Arand Success - TTD Eo




TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao said that the Kartika Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor held from November 28 to December 6 was a grand success and concluded with Panchami Thirtham fete on Friday.


After the completion of the Panchami Teertham festival speaking to media he said, lakhs of devotees took holy  bath in the sacred Padma Pushkarini and expressed their happiness over the facilities provided by TTD continuously during these nine  days. 

Devotees who came to Ammavari Brahmotsavam were facilitated with facilities like impressive electrical and flower decorations, security, parking, extensive Annaprasadam arrangements, drinking water, badam milk, medical and health services.

He said the arrangements were planned and implemented at the field level. On the occasion of Panchami Tirtham, several measures have been taken to ensure pilgrim crowd handling, traffic regulations and many more.  

Thousands of Srivari Sevaks rendered extensive services along with TTD, District officials in total coordination and made the event a grand success, EO asserted.

He said all the Brahmotsavam events were widely publicised in Electronic and print media besides SVBC provided live broadcasts of vahana Sevas and other related religious programs.

EO also extended appreciation to electronic and print media representatives on the occasion for their contributions.
