Devotees Hearts Bloooms for Flower Show























The colourful and splendid flower show organised by the Garden Wing of TTD has won the accolades of the devout with its grandeur.


On the occasion of the annual  Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Devi at Tiruchanoor, the flower exhibition was set up at the Friday Gardens by the TTD Garden department which was inaugurated on Thursday.

Various mythological characters etched in floral dioramas have been impressing the visiting devotees to a great extent. 

Sri Maha Vishnu in the form of protecting the Mother Earth by killing the demon Hiranyaksha,  Rama killing Vali hiding behind a tree during the battle between Vali and Sugriva, Kumbhakarna fighting in the battlefield, Padmavathi Devi in the guise of an old woman serving the laddu prasadam to Annamayya are a few to mention.

While others includes Vasudeva crossing the river with little Krishna, Vanara Sena building the bridge and many more besides the designs of animals and birds arranged with different flowers and vegetables attracted the devotees.

Ms. Gauri, a sand artist from Mysore who has been offering her services to TTD from the past nine years has created Sri Padmavati Sametha Venkateswara Swamy on Sand this year.

Similarly, Expo Ayurveda was organized under the auspices of SV Ayurveda College, Herbal Exhibition under the auspices of SV Ayurveda Pharmacy and free Ayurvedic medical camp. 

The sculpture art exhibition set up by the SV Institute of Traditional  Sculpture and Architecture stood as a cynosure.

Dance Troupes Excels













As a part of the ongoing annual fete in Tiruchanoor, the dance performances by various artistes enthralled the devotees.


On Thursday evening, a total of 12 teams consisting 298 artistes performed their skills in front of Chinna Sesha Vahanam.

It included, Mohini Attam, Bharat Natyam,  Dindigul Drums, Kolatam, Nava Durgas, Mahisasura Mardini dance.

Cultural Fiesta









The devotees had experienced a devotional musical retreat on Thursday.


 As a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor, The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad wing of TTD has organised devotional cultural programs at various venues viz. Asthana Mandapam, Mahati, Silparamam, Sri Rama Chandra Pushkarini and Annamacharya Kalamandiram.

The devotees were enthralled by the performances of the Classical Dance, Bhakti Sangeet, Harikatha Parayanam at these places.
