Aswa Vahana Seva Held








On the last day of Vahana Seva Sri Padmavati Devi in all Her grace and elegance appeared on the last among carriers, the Aswa Vahana seva on Thursday night.


The Goddess appeared as Maharani, on the divine Horse carrier and blessed Her devotees along four mada streets.

Tirumala Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri J Syamala Rao, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and others were also present.

Rathotsavam Held














The grandeur of wooden chariot was observed on Thursday.


On the penultimate day of the ongoing annual Navahnika Karthika Brahmotsavam of Tiruchanoor, the giant Rathotsavam was held amidst religious pomp and gaiety.

Tens of thousands of devotees participated in the mammoth wooden chariot pulling chanting Govinda... Govinda...with spiritual ecstasy.

Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala, EO Sri J Syamala Rao, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Satyanarayana, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and others were also present.

Special Pujas at Gogarbham Dam








As The rains in Tirumala for the past few days are filling up the reservoirs  TTD conducted special pujas at Gogarbham Dam on Thursday as water reserves reached full capacity. 


TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu and Additional EO Sri. Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary participated in this program and performed pujas and offered Jala Hararti.

On this occasion, the Additional EO said that the Gogarbham, Akashaganga and Papavinasanam dams in Tirumala are completely full due to the recent abundant rainfall. He said that if it rains again, the Kumaradhara and Pasupudhara dams will also be filled. At present, around 50 lakh gallons of water are being consumed in Tirumala every day.

He informed that the current water reserves are sufficient for 300 days of drinking water needs.

TTD board members Sri. Santaram, Deputy EO Sri.Lokanatham, Water Works EE Sri. Sudhakar, VGO Sri. Surendra and other officials participated in this program.

The water level details of the reservoirs as of 4 pm on Thursday are as follows.

1) Papavinasanam Dam :- 697.05 m.
FRL:- 697.14 m.
Storage Capacity:- 5240.00 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 5208.00 lakh gallons.

2) Gogarbham Dam :- 2894.00 feet
FRL :- 2894.00 Ft
Storage Capacity:- 2833.00 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 2833.00 lakh gallons.

3) Akashaganga Dam :- 865.00 m
FRL:- 865.00 m.
Storage Capacity:- 685.00 lakh gallons.
Current storage:- 685.00 lakh gallons.

4) Kumaradhara Dam:- 896.50 m.
FRL:- 898.24m.
Storage Capacity:- 4258.98 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 3724.43 lakh gallons.

5) Pasupudhara Dam :- 896.50 m.
FRL :- 898.24m.
Storage Capacity:- 1287.51 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 966.31 lakh gallons.

Chairman Offers Silks to Ammavaru





TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri BK Naidu offered silk vastrams to Sri Padmavati Ammavaru in the Tiruchanoor temple on Thursday.


He handed over the vastrams over the hands of TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and others were also present.

Inauguration of TTD Chairman Camp Office inTirumala








TTD Chairman Sri. BR Naidu inaugurated the TTD Chairman Camp Office in Tirumala on Thursday. 


Recently minor repairs have been carried and a special pooja was conducted in the Chairman's camp office.  

On this occasion, scholars rendered Vedaseervachanam to the Chairman and his spouse.
